1961Springseen on 15 April, quite early, an adult and one in winter plumage near Flying Cloud Airport, west of Minneapolis by A vi faunal Club members. Of special interest are several California Gulls seen on 10 May in Steele County, North Dakota, barely 25 miles west of the Minnesota border, by William Pieper. They were along the very edge of the Red River Valley.
